Responsibilities of a Technical Support Engineer:

  •  Execute client support functions for flagship products in a timely manner
  • Responsible for installation, implementation, data conversion, training, and technical support of flagship products
  • Facilitate software training classes remotely via the internet
  • Assist Sales staff with needs analysis to potential clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network performance problems
  • Recommend and perform software upgrades and other product add-ons
  • Maintains the company’s and client’s access infrastructure equipment, i.e. server, routers, modems, and other network related software and hardware.
  • Staying current on all new product enhancements.
  • Provide superior customer service and communicating with internal/external personnel during problem situations
  • Maintain expert level industry/technical knowledge base and maintains industry relationships
  • Provide remote access technology support when necessary
  • Maintain accurate notes of technical support for reference and billing purposes
  • Monitoring customer preferences, trends and useful data back to management.
  • Providing customer service and communicating with internal/external personnel during problem situations.
  • Gaining competence in discussing, presenting, and demonstrating the product offerings that you will be supporting.
  • Staying current on all new product enhancements.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely data in our internal data base.
  • Continuing to hone your selling skills by participating in all software training programs, plus your own independent reading and class attendance.
